SilentRain
It was a cool, peaceful day. The only sounds heard were the sounds of a few birds and the running water in the crystal clear river. Sitting on the bank of the river, sat SilentRain, his feet were in the river, his shoes neatly arranged next to him, and a old, leather-bound book in his hand. He was enjoying the day in a calm peace, doing what he enjoyed, reading. Even though he was relaxed, he kept his swords at a easily accesible area beside him. It was such a nice day, hopefully, nothing would ruin his quiet bliss.

Bluerain paused, leaves crunching underneath her bare feet. Perking her ears she listened to the soft calls of assorted birds, and the sound of water splashing up on the islands’ coast. This was why she loved Aquaclan. Looking forlornly toward the mainland, Lunarclans’ territory, she turned grabbing her favored staff, and tossed it across the short gap to the next nearest island, the closest one to Lunarclan territory. Easily leaping over the small gap, she brushed imaginary dust off of herself, and perked up when she saw another across the river. …maybe something would happen. Silently she crept forward.

SilentRain stifled a yawn, his book had grown a tad boring. He carefully placed the old book into a small pouch on his waist. picking up his two favorite swords, he stood up, smelling the pleasent air. "Why are you trying to remain unseen?" He asked outloud, tilting his head in a confused position, looking towards Aquaclan, "The breeze is in my favor today" He sat cross-legged on the ground. He wasn't interested in fighting today.

Reaching down the girl plucked something out of the ground, and then shrugged, “Who said I was hiding?” She brandished the freshly picked garlic, “I was out gathering herbs… besides I’m protected by diplomatic immunity.” The past portion of her short speech was murmured, almost disdainfully. Shaking off her troubles, she walked forward sitting at the waters’ edge, watching the Lunarclan warrior, while picking away at the muddy shell around the small clove of garlic.

After hearing the Aquaclan neko, SilentRain shrugged, and sat quietly, stareing at the, now apparent, medicine neko. He could smell the garlic from the other side of the water, "Scaring away the vampires?" he asked, at a attempt to be humorous, somehow, it was easier to talk to this neko than most other nekos in his clan, excluding Rainfall, of course. As he waited for her reply, SilentRain began to absentmindly stack small pebbles on top of one another.

The blonde girl grinned “How did you know? I don’t think it’s working though… you’re still here!” the joke wasn’t especially funny and Bluerain knew it, however, jokes, no matter how bad or corny, were wonderful to lighten up the atmosphere. She watched the Lunarclan warrior stack up pebbles and was silent for a bit, contemplating her herb gathering adventure… she couldn’t just go back to camp empty handed that would be no good. I think the borage is ready to be harvested, and I believe I saw a bit of mint… and then there’s that colony of bees I wanted to check out… The young healer let her mind wander.

A ghost of a smile flew across the Lunarclan warrior's face. "Mustn't be that strong of a garlic, though i can smell it from here, dreadful smell... so i'm a Vampire then?" He asked, humorously, grinning, while he flashed his sharp, white canines. The truth is, that the other clans often told stories of Lunarclan, since they were the darkest clan, they were often called Vampires, to scare disobediant kits and apprentinces. "Ah yes, Vampires... Didn't humans supposedly create the myth of a vampire?" he mused, saying the word 'human' with distaste. He then added as a afterthought, "Don't you have herbs to collect? I doubt you're over here to converse with me..." SilentRain stared at the river, and then stood in it, in it's banks, "is the entire river a border, is anyone allowed in it? or is the absolute line in the middle?" he asked, curious, he wasn't planing anything, just had a unsatiable curiousity.

The Aquaclan healers’ face fell, when the warrior mentioned gathering herbs, she had been enjoying their talk, though she didn’t know the Lunarclan warriors’ name, he seemed nice enough. Brushing off the thought for the moment she replied “I imagine they did, it doesn’t really matter, vampires are pretty cool either way. …personally” she brought the clove of garlic up to her nose and inhaled lightly "I think garlic has a plesent enough scent, maybe I work with it too much…” Her attention was turned to the river, “I don’t know, that’s a good question,” she pondered “I’ve never given it much though…” She chewed her lip have I unintentionally crossed the border when I went swimming before..? She went silent again, her thoughts returning to her herb gathering that she was detesting more with each passing moment.

SilentRain studied the neko's face, clearly she detested herb gathering. SilentRain stretched randomly, raising his arms to the clear air, then resting them against his neck, "Why? Why are you a medicine neko?" He asked her, then looked at the garlic in her hand, "Smells horrid, it does, very stong" he added. SilentRain looked at the sky, it was awfully clear this day "Wish it would rain today, ah, such is life"

The blonde girl shrugged and slumped her shoulders in a short moment of thought. “I…” she faltered “don’t… think I need to disclose that information to you.” She shrugged yet again, and continued to think. He had hit the nail right on the head. She would have much preferred to be a warrior, but at the same time… “I love my duties. I love plants. …I only wish that.. It’s so restrictive y’know? It’s like I can’t do anything without feeling oppressed. And it’s just..” she stopped mid-rant and chewed her lip. “…I..oh sorry I said I wasn’t going to talk about that didn’t I?” She stared down at the ground suddenly feeling rather shy and demure. She paused and stopped staring at her feet, “…I’d rather it didn’t makes my hair get rather frizzy, terrible to manage, and quite hideous looking when it comes down to it.” A rather odd thing for a girl of the water-clan to say.

SilentRain smiled, but only slightly. Hearing the girl rant was quite interesting. "So, allow me to get this straight, a riverclan neko, has problems with water... messing up... her hair?" he said, humorously. SilentRain bent down, cupped his hands and filled them with the cold water. He smirked slightly, and threw the clear water at his target, a head of blonde hair. His aim has always been good, and it did not falter now, the icy water hit the girls hair and face, leaving her drenched, and probably fuming, or at least annoyed? "It's just a little water!" he said, laughing.

Bluerain squeaked indignantly “Hey!” she pulled her headband off, flung her hair down and shook it out so that water droplets would splatter the Lunarclan warrior. Feeling satisfied she flipped the platinum blonde hair back and wrung it out. Feeling satisfied she separated her bangs from regular hair and slipped the headband back on. “It’s not all water,” she said dryly “Just rain water.” She glowered for a moment thinking of the wet spot on her back, and how her clothes were starting to get sticky and clingy. But first a strike back… what to do? So many options…

Droplets of water hit SilentRain, as the neko across from him shook her head. SilentRain shrugged the water off, "I may be of Lunarclan, but I can't get enough water!" he replied, a mischevious grin on his face, showing a white canine. SilentRain threw more water at Bluerain, watching how the sun shone off of the water as it rose in the air. "You're all wet!" He said, chuckling at the blonde. So what, it may be a death wish, but who cares? he thought to himself, as he saw the girl plotting her revenge.

The lithe girl shrugged “That’s good for you. I don’t mind water, I grew up with it so I’m used to it. It’s not that bad.” She shook her hair out for the second time that day, and frowned as she looked at her wet shirt, while thanking her senses for wearing a black shirt today. Feeling uncomfortable she undid the clasps on her shirt so the short sleeves would air out faster, and pulled her arm and leg warmers off. She placed the articles of clothing into a small satchel and smiled wryly to SilentRain. “Aren’t you the master of obvious?” The sarcastic contrasted deeply against her sweet aura. Murderous thoughts were running through her head; however she sat down by the river bank and plucked a strand of grass, fraying the ends as she shredded it. “Don’t you have anything better to do than throw water at me? I dry out faster than normal people so your attempts are futile if you want to make me soggy…. However if you are trying to anger me, well you’re doing a rather good job…. I’d sleep with your eyes open for a while.”

SilentRain shrugged, and sat down, "i'm the master of all the obvious! and no, i'm only here to escape a crazy friend of mine, she's hunting me down..." he said, observing a large body of clouds heading their way. "maybe it will rain, i would suppose it's good that you dry quickly, considering that you are in aquaclan..." he said, anxiously looking behind himself, "i think she's coming...."
